The weather being anything but promising militated against the attendance of a large number. After some conversational discussion a snb-commit-tee was set lip to canvass for msmbers. One of the sub-committee, Mr. T. Luxton, interested himself yesterday, with the result that he received several promises of pupils to join the classes. There is no doubt that these will be held. Messrs. Biro ling, Luxton and Buchanan waited on the Hunt Club Committee yesterday at Bell Block on behalf of the North Taranaki Ploughing Association, with a view to altering the date of the meet at Mr. (J. Foreman's. The committee were unanimous in agreeing to postpone their hunt, iixod for July 27, to August 10, so that the original date fixed by the Association will be adhered to. The proposed jumping events will now be added to the programme.
