TWO MEN 1 RUN DOWN. "9. By Telegraph.—Frew Association. Auckland, Yesterday. James Harrison and William Lynch were standing talking pn the tramline at Welleslcy street when a car coming down tiie lull rail into them both. They were removed to tiie hospital. Harrison is suffering from a broken leg and severe intcriml injuries. Lynch is badly cut about, but in ftis case serious results are not anticipated. KILLED IX A MINE. liokitika, Last Night. ■ A miner named Charles Heil was killed in the Wheel of Fortune claim, Stafford, this afternoon. The fatality; was caused by the elevator bucket falling on him while lie was working in a well-hole. Death was instantaneous The deceased was a married man, Ilia wife and two children residing at Stafford.
