THE QUESTION OF REGISTRATION. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Yesterday. Figures supplied by tlie, defence authorities show that there are still a. number of males between the ages of 14 and 21 who have not registered under the new defence scheme. For the week ended June 10, 2748 persons registered. The figures for each district were: Auckland, territorials n'.lfl, senior cadets 410; Wellington, '254 and '209; Canterbury, 426 and 434; Otago, 170 and 120; totals, 1440 and 1302. June 17 is absolutely the last day for receiving registrations. Persons who should have registered by that day and fail to do so will be prosecuted.
