NEW ZEALAND ALLIANCE. By Telegraph. —Press Association. Wellington, Tuesday. The twenty-fifth annual convention of the New Zealand Alliance opened to-day, Mr. Wesley Spragg in the chair. Nearly every electorate in New Zealand was represented. The annua] report reviewed matters dealt with during the year and referred to the preparations for the coming campaign and the prospects of a great victory at the polls. The conference was not open to the Press. FEDERATION OF LABOR. 1 Wellington, Tuesday. It is understood that the conference I of delegates of the New Zealand Feder- ! ation of Labor has concluded its deliberations with regard to the Waihi trouble, hut members refuse to disclose any information.
