PAPERS AND SPEECHES. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Xo-T,icense Conventioned continued in tlie afternoon. Mr. It. Trench, vice-president, was in the cnair, and the following papers were mid: Mr. J, Bridges (ATaslorton). ''How to Organise a District : Miss Powell (Pnlmerston Kortli*. "Ilonsc-fo-Ilonse Canvassing"; Rev. W. 11. llinton (Thames), "The Enrolment of Voters." Tn the course of (he discussion ensuing, the question was raised of the value of public meetings and campaign literature. A conversazione was lielc! in the evening. at which propaganda speeches were delivered by prominent leaders. Mr. Wesley Spragg presided. Among the speakers were the Hon. G. Fowlds (Minister of Education), Mrs. Barton (a social reform worker from Glasgow), and the Tiev. A. Dewdney (chairman 01 the Alliance Executive). The convention will continue in the morning.
