THE CUP CONTEST. By Cable—Press Association —<sopyright. Received 12, 10.58 p.m. Sydney, June 12. The secretary of the Tennis Association sent a cable to South Africa expressing regret that South Africa must withdraw from the cup contest. The withdrawal leaves England and America to play off to determine which shall compete against Australia in the challenge round in December m Ncv Zealand. It appears as if England and Airenea will play the tic in Australia, as America has definitely refused to go to London.
