Germany's tenth Dreadnought, the Fricdrich Der Grosse, was launched by Field Marshal Von Vondergold. In the baptismal speech he expessed the wish that the battleship would increase Germany's prestige abroad. Germany, in her evolution, had, he remarked, entered into new paths successfully. The attainment of her ambition required a strong navy, such as the foresight of her Imperial War Lord had created.
