SUDDEN DEATH. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Timaru, Last Night. An elderly man, a retired fanner, named McGallaly, known in the Ashburton and AVinclicstcr districts, single, aged 50, died suddenly of heart disease in the street this morning. He had been under medical care for some years. DROWNED In A BATH. Wanganui, Saturday. It was reported to the police last evening that Mrs. Charles Bryce, whose husband died three years ago, was found dead in a bath at her residence. The evidence given at, the inquest this morning showed that deceased had a fainting fit a few days back. Last evening she went to have a bath, and was found half an hour afterwaTds lying on her side, quite underneath the water, which filled the bath. A Terdict of drowned in a bath, resulting from a fainting fit, was returned.
