COASTAL LAND SALE.
Mr. A. Alexander's Warea grazing run. subdivided for closer settlement, was sunmittcd (o auction at Mr. Xewton King's mart on Saturday, when there was a good atendance, The beach lot on the north side of the Stent road, comprising 125 acres, was sold to Mr. Clias. Sole at £27 10s -an acre, and the other two farms, of 100 acres each, on ui« same side of the road, to Messrs. J. A. and L. Meier, at £23 fin acre. On the opposite side of the Stent road Mr. H. X. Chapman purchased two allotments, totalling 22. 1 ) acres, at £25 10s an acre. Mr. T. Doyle purchased 83 acres at the lower end of the Xewall road ior £,')() an acre, and the adjoining 97 acres (homestead site) at £25 an acre: The beach lot on -the south side ,of this mad was sold to Mr. T. Brophy at £.'io nn acre.- Mr. D. K Greenway purchased tfie two beach farms between rungarelui and the Waiteknure stream, 1110 acres and 151 acres, at £2O 10s an acre.
