CONFERENCE WITH LORD PLUNKET. By cable.—Press Association.—Copyright Received 11, 5,5 p.m. London, June 10. Overseas brandies' representatives of the Victoria League, have had a conference with Lord Plunket, ex-Governor of New Zealand, who stated that persons with experience of oversea peoples realised that sentiment is a tremendous fattor in the growth of the Imperial ideal and the maintenance of the united empire. Mrs. Rollett stated that the New Zealand League was doing a good work in assisting young Englishmen to lit themselves for a farmer's life. He |.leaded for a more systematic method of wel lining immigrants. An English delegate suggested an interchange of teachers.
