NEW ZEALAND REFEREES' ASSOCIATION. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. ! The adjourned meeting of the New Zealand [-lockcy Referees' Association was held last evening, when seven associations were represented. The following officers were elected:—Patron, His Excellency Lord Islington; president, Rev. H. H. Mathias; vice-presi-dents, tile presidents of affiliated associations; secretary, Mr. G. W. Ford; treasurer, Mr. A. G. Poison; auditor, Mr. P. N. Bundle; management committee, Messrs. E. Hulbert, H. Hatch, N. Goldflbury, L. Cusworth, and E. P. Cooper. A considerable amount of correspondence was dealt with, and it was decided to further communicate with the unaffiliated associations asking them to join the association. It was decided to issue a standard ring for the measurement of hockey sticks. The subscription was fixed at 10s Cd for the season. The committee was instructed to reconsider the ruling on off-side play given last year. Several rulings asked for by different centres were agreed on.

A general practice of Saturday liockev players will be held at the Racecourse this afternoon at 2.30 o'clock. A full muster is requested.
