NAPIER STEEPLECHASE. I By Telegraph.—Press Association. ! Napier. Last Night. Nominations for the Napier Steeplechase, to be run at Napier Park on June 28, were received to-night as follows Corazon, Te Arai, Aorangi, Xavier, Mount Cook, Starlight, Sardonyx, Lill, Lovell, Maidi, Winiata, 'Loch Fyiie, Nogi, Yashmak, Lingerer, El Dorado, and Don Carloe.
A Sydney cable states that advices have been received that Dr. Hart has purchased the English thoroughbred stallion Cyrus for the Broeklesby stud. The price paid is not stated.
