MEETING OF DIRECTORS. The weekly meeting of directors of the laranaki Petroleum Company waa held last night, when the manager reported as follows: No. 2 bore is keeping up the weekly now of oil. No. 3 bore is at a depth of 4020 ft., and drilling is proceeding through good country with a strong show of gas. On Wednesday night the oil flowed ircely. AH the signs point to probable early interesting developments, No. 5 bore is at a depth of 1570 ft., and operations are proceeding satisfactorily. The indications are very favorable. Good progress is being made iii constructing, the new underground tank. The Hon. D. Buddo has telegraphed to Mr. Roy as follows:—"Kindly accept for yourself and convey to your manager and staff my thanks for your courtesy in allowing me an opportunity on Tuesday of noting the development of the important operations you are carrying on at Aloturoa. I wish you and the company every success. Kind regards."

Notification having been received of the Hon. J. A. Millar's visit to New Plymouth on Tuesday, the directors have arranged for him to go out to the works at Moturoa at 10 a.m.
