SOUTH AFRICAN BLACKS.
HOW THEY SHOULD BE HANDLED. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 9, 1 a.m. Bloemfontein, June 8. Ex-President Stein, at the Orange Free State Unic Congress, referring to the natives losing respect for the whites, deprecated the outcry, which suggested that all blacke should Buffer for the faults of a few. The best way to reerect the wall of respect was by cooperation of white races, not, however, on an equality of black and white, which was non-existent. The native should understand that the Union was his friend and protection and not his enemy.
