TARANAKI COMPANY. Mr. Keith, manager of the Taranaki Petro!«wn Company, reports that at No. 3 bore drilling is proceeding .satisfactorily. The bore is now down 4002: feet, and a strong scam of gas, with! a fair amount of oil, was struck at & depth of 3995 feet. The bore is now going through good country. The lwrO' is flowing as usual. At C.30 on Wednesday night ther« was a slight blew-out.. No. 2 lwre is flowing as usual. No. 5 We is now down to a depth' of 1800 feet. Drilling is proceeding satisfactorily through good papa country.
