FIRES.
THE OUTBREAK ON THE HAUPIRI. By Telegraph.—-Press Association. Auckland, Tuesday. The fire on the steamer Hanpiri had its origin on the 'tween decks, where were some bales of hay. This hay rtnd, an empty package were the only cargo destroyed by fire. Though other damage was done by heat, smoke and water, it was comparatively slight.
