OBSERVANCES IN LONDON. By Cable.—Press Association.—Onyriglit London, June 6. There was brilliant weather for WhitMonday, the thermometer registering 80 degrees. A number of heat and drowning fatalities were recorded. There were 150,000 present at the Festival of Empire. All the buildings and side shows are now completed. New Zealand's fine pavilion was crowded. The newspapers praise the collection of Australian pictures at the Art Gallery.
