An Englishman travelling in Albania writes to the Morning Post stating that the Turks are burning houses in the Skreli and Kostrati districts wholesale. Aged and infirm peasants have been incinerated. Eight insurgents, hearing the woundeds' mad shrieks for help, descended a hill at Kostrati to rescue them. The artillery turned their guns on them, six being killed. Two women and children were incinerated. Being Moslems, they did not consider it necessary to fly. They were mistaken by the Turks for Christians. The correspondent adds that there are many thousands of destitute women and children in the Podgoritga district. TROUBLE IN MACEDONIA. Constantinople, June 5. A quantity of dynamite and apparatus for manufacturing bombs has been discovered in the Koepmolue district, near the railway on the Sultan's route to Macedonia. The Procurator-General at Monastir has been murdered. The assassins are '- unknown. , '. < ; THE PROCURATOR'S MURDER. Received 6, 11 p.m. Constantinople, June 6. The Procurator-General murdered at Monastir had been instructed on Saturday to prosecute the proprietor of a newspaper belonging to the Extreme which had been violently assailing the non-Turkish communities, Macedonia and all the Balkan States. The murderer is a Moslem fanatic.
