He attributes the report to the fact that the additional stringency of inspection has curtailed the proiits of certain exporters. NEW ARBITRATION ACT. Adelaide. June 3. ! Mr. Denny, Attorney-General, outlined a new Arbitration Act by which he hopes to abolish irritating and inconvenient strikes. Tho Bill provides legislation for all trades unions and industrial organisations, also for the notification of threatened or impending industrial disputes.
