WAIONGONA. (From Our Own Corresponded). On Monday evening the local Debating Society held its fortnightly meeting in the school. There was a fair attendance, the subject for debate being "Is Dancing Beneficial to Hfealth." Mr. Brittain occupied the chair. Mr. B. Luke took the affirmative side of the question, and Mr. J. Medley the negative. The voting was in favor of the affirmative. At the dose of the debate the question-box was taken round. The subject for next debate will be "Should War be Abolished."
