THE TOFUA REFLOATED
AN OFFICER KILLED. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright Suva, June 2. The Tofua floated off the reef last night unaided. The third mate was accidentally killed and the boatswain injured. APPARENTLY UNDAMAGED. Received 2, 9.30 p.m. Sydney, June 2. Latest advices show that the Tofua is apparently undamaged and has proceeded on her voyage. Hudson, the third officer, was a widswer, and wellknown in Sydney. He joined the Union Company only recently. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Friday. When the Tofua was last here the third mate was C. S. Hudson. The name of the boatswain is unknown at the Union Company's office here.
