He intends to settle in Spain. Farewelling a group of army officers, he assured them that he would always heed his country's call if needed in the future. He warned them that the present Government must follow the Diaz methods if peace were to be established. He tearfully embraced his officers. SERIOUS RIOTS. Mexico City, May 31. Thirty persons were killed and many injured in a riot at San Luis, At Patosi the mob fought the police for four hours.
