N.S.W. CABINET.

TROUBLE THREATENED. By cable.—Press Association.—Copyright Received 1, 9.5 p.m. Sydney, June 1. Trouble is threatened in the State Cabinet over Mr. A. H. Griffith*' statement regarding the Ministers' attitude towards free ferries. Mr. W. A. Hblman (Acting-Premier), interviewed, said Mr. Griffiths had a very easy remedy for such a state of things by resigning the position where relations with other Ministers prevail. He did not suppose there would be any difficulty in finding another Minister of Works who would administer the Department with the same degree of loyalty, and possibly with more loyalty. The Department would then carry out the Cabinet's policy, not criticise it. Mr. Griffiths disclaims any disloyalty to his colleagues.
