ENTERTAINMENTS.
"THE PRINCE AND THE BEGGARMAID." H. E. Roberts and Beatrice Day together with Mr. Anderson's new organisation will open at the Theatre Royal on Friday, June 2, in Walter Howard's drama, "The Prince and the Beggar-Maid." which is described by the London press as "Walter Howard at his best." Australasia has had evidence of Mr. Howard's ability as a playwright in "Iler" and "A Life's Revenge." All the costumes for this production have been executed in London, and the scenery is from the brush of Mr. Rego Robins. The company iicludes the following well-known artists:—Messrs Walter Dalgleish. Herbert Leigh, Clive Farnham, Harry Herbert, George Coape, Henry, Thorpe and Kenneth Brnmpton, who will make his first, appearance in this city Mr. Brampton is an English actor of note, from Edward Terry's stook company. The ladies are the Misses Florence Lichter, Ethel Bashford, Maud Cosham, and other*. On Saturday night the company will produce the sensational American drama. "Might is Right."
