Evidence before the Industrial Court disclosed that tugboats in Sydney run at a loss owing to the severity of competition and the disappearance of sailing vessels. THE WONDERFUL WIRELESS. Tenders for the Savings Bank loan of half a million, at 3% per cent., at a minimum of £O6, have been opened. The public tendered for £161,600, at an average of £96 Is 6d, the Savings Bank Commissioners taking the balance at par.
