LICENSING CASE.

•AN IMPORTANT JTJDCr.^XT. By Cable—Press Association—(Jupyright. Received 29, 8.53 p.m. Sydney, May 29. The Full Court's reserved decision in the local option test appeal case arising out of the late local option poll, unanimously finds that the reserved vote of 1910 did not rehabilitate the licenses cancelled by the 1907 vote. At the 1907 election, Leichardt electors voted reduction. At last election they reversed that decision, and voted for continuance. The point at issue was whether the last nullified the previous vote, giving the hotels voted out in 1907 the right to keep open. The case was a test one, and altogether 1/2 hotels were affected, representing property valued at nearly £IOO,OOO.
