ENTERTAINMENTS

BIOGKAPII PICTURES. A most attractive programme of moving pictures was presented for Saturday night's change, there being a large attendance of patrons. In addition to the excellent dramas "His Trust" and "His Trust Fulfilled," several other subjects of exceptional merit were screened. One, a Biblical characterisation of the time of King Herod, is perhaps one of the best films seen at New Plymouth. Another, depicting a flying machine in the clouds, is a wonderful as well as a most amusing picture. The comic pictures screened should be seen by all who appreciate humor, especially the one entitled "His First Billet." Taken altogether, the programme easily stands out as one of the best shown here. The programme will be repeated to-night.
