FROM PARIS TO MADRID. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Madrid, May 26. Vedrines won the race from Paris to Madrid. He crossed the pass of Sommo Sierra at a height of 0600 feet. During his flight above the mountains an eagle attacked Vedrines, who escaped by descending and rising suddenly. His last flight was very arduous, and the airman finished the race half stupified. A WONDERFUL FLIGHT. 737 MILES IN 738 MINUTES. Received 28, 5.5 p.m. Paris, May 27. Vedrine's actual flying time was 738 minutes, covering 737 miles.
