At the Supreme Court to-day an old -~i man named James McLean Kinnen wat t' sentenced to five years' imprisonment for an indecent assault on a boy. Mr, Justice Chapman remarked that t&6 sentence would have been heavier and v included a flogging but for the prisoner's age. James Falkner, charged witll forgery and uttering, was sentenced t« two years' reformatory treatment. WELLINGTON SESSIONS. Wellington, Last Night. At the Supreme Court to-day, George Stewart Neish, about IS years of age, charged with indecently assaulting a boy aged 7, was found not guilty. A charge of theft of <i mare brought against Arthur Gilford St. Clair Isbister, , in respect of which the jury disagreed last week, was re-heard. The juryfouhd accused not guilty.
