LOCAL INDUSTRY EXHIBITION
WELIJIXOTOX'S exdeavor. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, List Xight. To-morrow there will he opened in Wellington the Coronation Industrial Exhibition of New Zealand, containing one of the finest collective examples of products of Xew Zealand's brains and industry that has vet been put before the public. Tile exposition is not n« large as that held a few years ago at Christchurch, but that was an international affair. Wellington is not attempting to advertise the world's goods. The aim of the Wellington Industrial Association in promulgating this Exnthltion is to let Xew Zealandots understand that their country is a self-contained State, blessed by Nature, and capable of producing everything that the Xew Zenlander wants, if he will only have lovaltv to support local industry. The Exhibition will be officially opened by the Acting-Premier (the Hon. James Carroll) to-morrow afternoon. To-day the place was simply alive with workmen. Many (if the stalls have already been completed. Others have not, but it is anticipated that everything will be in order for the opening.
