A GIRL'S SUICIDE. By Telegraph,—Press Association. Wanganui, Last Night. A seventeen-year-old girl named Nellie Delaney committed suicide yesterday afternoon .by jumping into the river. It is said that as the result of chastisement by her father, she threatened to drown herself, and forthwith put the threat into action. FALL FROM A TRAM. Christchurch, Last Night. C. Cohen, a single man aged 20, employed as a tram conductor, fell off a Linwod car yesterday morning. He sustained a severe concussion and other injuries and was admitted to the hospital, where he is doing fairly well.
