OLD AGE PENSIONS. London, May 19. The Government has promised a Bill removing existing hardships under the Old Age Pensions Act. LORD CURZON'S FORECAST. Received 21, 5.5 p.m. London, May 20. Lord Curzon, at a conference of Conservative clubs, declared that if the Parliament Bill were passed it would eventually tie wiped off the Statute Book as an ugly smudge.
