FATE OF TWELVE ISLANDERS. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright Received 22, 1 a.m. Port Moresby, May 21. A single survivor of a party of thirteen native deserters from a plantation lias arrived here. He states that after deserting they met a party of cannibals, who bound and killed the remainder of the party. The survivor managed to bite his bonds and escape. From cover he watched the cannibals cook and eat bis friends.
