THE WINTER SHOW.
That farmers recognise the value of an exhibit, at the following winter show at New Plymouth, \yas, in evidence on Monday night at Bell Block, when some twenty-six farmers gathered at the I-lall to discuss ways and means of competing in the district farm products competition and other classes. The following district committees were selectpd to collect data and report at a meeting to be held on Monday next at Bell Block at 7.30 p.m.:—Tarurutangi district, Messrs. .T. LongstafT, A. Street, and T. Rowc; Hillsborough district, Messrs. J. Hill, W. Stanley, and H. Sampson; Smart road, Messrs. T. Hawkins, H. Skelton, and C. Street; Lcpperton Junction, Messrs. IT. Putt, E. Hellier, and R. Kilpatrick; Bell Block, Messrs. .7. C'onnett, B. Giddy, ,T. H. and A. 11. Street, F. Andrews, C. Hoskin, F. Horsup, C. Colson, and the secretary ot the Agricultural Society, Mr. A. Cliff.
