Major Hrcillard's artillery dispersed attacking tribesmen, and he is continuing his march. Meanwhile constant skirmishes are taking place in the vicinity of the eiunp at the mouth of the Sebu river, wliicli passes close to the beleaguered city. The convoys from Mehodia were attacked, but the French artillery and galdant charges by the Spahis repulsed i the tribesmen. I
