The world's sprint champion Donaldson, of Victoria, easily defeated Holway, the American, over 75 yards, 100 yards, and 220 yards, winning the first event by five feet in 7 3-ssec; the second by three yards in !) 4-ssec., a record for a grass track; and the third by six yards in 22 l-ssec.
