THE WANDERERS' MUSICAL COSTUME COMEDY COMPANY.
The box plan for the initial performance of "The Wanderers" will be open at 10 o'clock this morning at Hoffmann's (no extra charge being made for reserving seats). The Wanderers come with so excellent a reputation that crowded houses are assured to welcome them here on the 18th and 19th inst. The company includes Miss Phyllis Hopwood Foldi, a monologue and pianologue entertainer, who has met with great success in England, America, and Australia, and still more recently in New Zealand. She lias a large repertoire of monologues, both grave and gay, by Willcox, Kipling, Cooper, and other well-known authors, not forgetting the late Thomas Bracken's "Not Understood," which has been one of her chief successes on three continents. Miss Foldi enjoys the distinction of being the first and only monologiste that has ever graced the London stage. Her voiee is clear and musical, and her skill as a pianist is great. Other members of the company are Mr. Leslie Holmes, comedian, Miss Ruby Quest, soubrette and banjoist, Mr. J. Leith Harvey, tenor, Miss Madelene Fevre, soprano, Mr. J. D. Keenan, baritone, Miss Everil Heggie, soubrette and dancer, and Mr. George Winstanley, phenomenal male soprano. The musical arrangements are under the direction of Mr, Herbert Brohm, well-known as conductor of Mr. George Stephenson's opera companies.
