ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
DROWNED IX A WATERHOLE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Wednesday. A boy fifteen years of age, the son of Jesty, a settler in Ness Valley, has been missing for a week. Search parties found his body in a deep waterhole. At the inquest a verdict was returned of accidental death by drowning. GIRL'S BODY FOUND. Nelson, Wednesday. The body of a girl has been found on the boulder bank above high water mark, where it has apparently been lying for some days. It is presumed to be that of the elder of the two Wilson girls of St. Andrew's Orphanage, who were drowned on Easter Monday. Identification is proceeding. IYSOL POISONING. Wanganui, Wednesday. A single man named Alexander Harley, aged 27, employed at Fordell, took lysol at 10 o'clock last night and died from the effects at 2.30 this morning. The inquest will be held this afternoon. AX UNWELCOME BABY. Christchurch, Last Night. The body of a newly-born female child was found tied in a sack in the Avon river at Avonside this afternoon.
