STRIKERS PROMPTLY REPLACED. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Sydney, May 10. The men engaged, on the Moree-Mun-gindi railway, which the Government is building by day labor, struck for fifteen shillings a day for man and horse. Mr. Griffith immediately purchased horses and sent other men and replaced the strikers, stating that he could not allow workmen to dictate to the Department.
