TARANAKI RUGBY UNION. A meeting of delegates to the Taranaki Rugby Union was held last night at Stratford, when the following were present: Messrs. Buchanan (Clifton) i presiding, D. Webster (Tukapa), L. Hill I (Star), O'Dea (Hawera), Boldt and ; James (Inglewood), Malone and Thomas (Stratford), Chalmers (Eltham), and Rev. Scott (Kaponga). I Notice of mdtion was given to amend the rules so that ,the Saturday clubs could be represented on the management' committee. | The Star, United, Rovers, and Okato clubs, in the Saturday division, were affiliated to the union. There was no application in from the Tariki Club, but! the Inglewood Club was prepared tooppose the affiliation of a Saturday club'' from Tariki had the application come forward. . Last year's selectors of representative' teams, Messrs. Malone, Mynott and A. I Hunter, were re-elected. Messrs. Mynott, I Malone and Buchanan will select the, north division team. | The applications of T. Hopkins, E. J'.cllringer, and A. Pearcc (of the Star | club), and of Blyde and Allen (Tukapa) i for re-instatement from seniors to first, juniors, were granted. I L. Whitaker (Star) applied for the removal of his disqualification, but the application was refused. The management committee met subsequently. The Saturday fixtures had to he rearranged; owi-ig to the absence of the Tariki Club, and they are now fixed as follows: FIRST ROUND. May 13—Okato v. Star, at Okato; Rovers v. United (Rovers match). May 20—United v. Okato, at New Plymouth; Star v. Rovers (Star match). May 27.—Okato v. Rovers, at Okato; Star v. United (Star match).
SECOND ROUND. June 10.—Star v. Okato, at Xcw Ply-; mouth; United v. Rovers (Uniteo match). I June. 17.—Okato v. United, at Okato; Rovers v. Star (Rovers match). i June 24—Rovers v. Okato, at New Plymouth; United v. Star (United match). THIRD ROUND. July I.—Okato v. Star, at Okato; Rovers v. United (Rovers match). July B.—United v. Okato, at New Plymouth; Star v. Rovers (Rovers match). July 15—Okato v. Rovers, at Okato; Star v. United (Star match). The following players will re-present Tukapa seniors against Eltham tomorrow afternoon in the Western Park, play to commence at 2 o'clock:—Honeyfield, C. Webster, J. Stohr, G. Loveridg'e, Whitaker, Brown, F. Loveridgc. A. arcGiven. W. Francis, Perry, Charteris, Ward, Davidson, .Toll and ,f. Blyde. Star first juniors will be represented by the following against Inglewood tomorrow at Inglewood:—Elliot, Bridger, Nfaine, Bellringer, James, Brown (2)'
