RIFLE SHOOTING
OKATO RIFLE CLUB. • Despite the fact that the conditions were excellent, there was only a poor muster of members present on Saturday, when the third match of the present series was got through. However, those who did attend put up some creditable shooting. Rifleman Grover scored a possible at 200 yards, while several 34's were registered during the day. Rifleman Thomas secured the honors, with the good score of 100, which gives him a lead for the trophy. Following are the scores:— 200500600 Hp. Tl. Rfm. Thomas .... 34 32 34 Rim.
