CANADA AND GERMANY.
A RECIPROCAL TREATY. By cable—Press Association.—Copyright London, May 8. The Standard's Berlin correspondent says that an understanding has been arrived at between Canada and Germany for negotiations for a reciprocal treaty. THE REPORT DENIED. Received 10, 12.5 a.m. Ottawa, May 9. Mr. Fielding has denied the Press reports published in London to the effect that Germany is negotiating with Canada for a reciprocal trade agreement.
