Edward Hall, accountant of tlie Scone brancli of the Savings Bank, pleaded guilty to charges of embezzlement, falsification and forgery. The total deficiency is £OOOO, covering 200 different embezzlements, affecting a hundred accounts over a period of seven years. He was committed for trial.
