FROZEN MEAT. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., have received the following cablegram from their London house, under date sth inst.: "The market is steadier for mutton, firm for beef, but weak for lamb." MARKET REPORT. Messrs. J. B. MaeEwan & Co. forward the following statement of exports of dairy produce to United Kingdom:— From New Zealand.—Shipped per Ruapehu, April 27th, 1011, 5 tons butter, 340 tons cheese; per Kent, April 20th, 5 tons butter, 310 tons cheese; per Kaikoura, May 3rd, 103 tons cheese—total, 10 tons butter, 828 tons cheese. Covering a similar period in 1010 the shipments were: Per Otaki. April 27th. 120 tons butter; per Cornwall, April 27th, 305 tons cheese; per Turakina, May sth, 18!) tons butter, 1022 tons cheese—totals, 300 tons butter, 1387 tons cheese. Shipments to date as compared with last season:— From New Zealand. Butter—Season 1909-10, 10.219 tons; 1910-11, 15,700 ton.-—decrease 3 per cent Cheese—Season 1000-10,21,420; 1910-11 19,315—decrease 10 per cent. •From Australia. Butter-Season 1900-10, 28.027 tons; 1910-11 (up to 24th April), 42,707 tonsincrease 49 per cent. Latest cable advices from London advise that best, brands of salted butter are realising from 108s to 100s, market weak; while white and colored cheese are equal in value, namely, 01s to 02s, with n quiet market.
