DOMESTIC HELP PROBLEM. Adelaide, May 6. The Government, enquiring into the domestic servant problem, had produced overwhelming evidence that the supply of girls is far short of the demand. Various reasons are ascribed, the chief of which is the preference of girls for factory life. The importation of a large number of carefully, selected domestics and training for domestic work in public schools is recommended.
