THE CORONATION
A REASONABLE PROTEST. By Cable —Press Association—Copyright, Received 7, 5.5 p.m. Capetown, May 6. Much comment is made concerning the selection of the wattle as the emblem of South Africa for King George's stole, because the wattle was an importation from Australia.
The Cape Times says the announcement occasioned mingled amusement and chagrin. Mr. Pearson, a botanist, suggests a protest.
