MOUNT LYELL COMPANY. By cable. —Press Association.—Copyright Melbourne, May 5. The Mount Lyell Company Ims declared a dividend of 15d per share, payable on June 15. TIIE YONGALA WRECK. Brisbane, May 5. The Government is offering a reward of (£IOOO for the discovery of the place where the Yongala was wrecked. MOUNT .MORGAN MINE. Brisbane, May 5. Mount Morgan results for April show that the total value of the output was £70,114. The gold production works produced 3014 ounces, the copper production works 505 tons of pure copper, and 6551 ounces of gold. The reduction of the output was caused by a shortage of labor and the interruption of working due to the Easter holidays. THE AUSTRALIAN SQUADRON. Sydney, May 5. The warships Pegasus, Sealark and Fantome have been paid off. The Pegasus becomes the drill ship on the Australian station, and the Fantome and Sealark will be recommissioned as surveying ships. SAVINGS BANKS. Sydney, May 5. The Government is considering a scheme for amalgamating the two Government savings banks with a view to preventing' competition and saving expense.
