HANDS AROUND THE PACIFIC.

CLOSER FELLOWSHIP DESIRED. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Sydney, May 5. The Governor of Hawaii, who is vicepresident of the Hands-around-the-Paci-fic Club, of which Sir Joseph Ward accepted the presidency, in a letter to the director of the Immigration Bureau, says: "I hope our several Governments will seriously take up the matter bringing all Pacific lands into closer fellowship, so that we may jointly invite Europe and America to visit us. The club proposes to entertain Sir Joseph Ward and the Australian Premiers as they are returning from the Coronation via Honolulu, when matters of interest in the Pacific will be discussed."
