By Telegraph.—Pregg Association. Palmerston N., Last Night. With reference to the statement of the Rev. J. J. North at Cnristchurch that a municipal officer inspected the films used at the municipal picture show and had to reject large numbers sent from the Old Country, and that this justifies the censorship of pictures,there is considerable indignation on the part of the two private picture shows here. The fact is that there m no such municipal officer, and there were no auch re* jections as the Rev. North states.
