REVOLUTION SPREADING. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Canton, May 1. The revolution is spreading. Fatslian has been partly burned and the prefect of Shinting assassinated. The magistrate at Samshui was killed during the fighting. SHELLING THE REBELS. Pekin, M'y 1. It is reported that therevolut' "aries hav®. captured Wnehaufu, on tin river, and Samshui and TVeichow, 0:1 the East river. It is stated that a Chinese gunboat shelled the rebels at Fatslian, killing two hundred. Service on the Canton-Kowloon railway has been suspended. It has been arranged to send the womenfolk belonging to Europeans by railway to Hongkong.
